Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL, when launched, used Google Assistant to provide a great call blocking feature to respond to suspicious spam calls and record conversations in real time. Now, as we found in Droid Life Pixel 2 and 2 XL are available as part of this week's Google Phone update.
Spam calls are on the rise and we have resolved the issue directly to prevent potential spam from being delivered to customers, such as the company T-Mobile, which includes telecommunications companies. However, when the call is finished, you can still press the "Call Screen" button. The Google Assistant will then notify the caller that you are using the pilot and will receive a copy of the conversation. From then on, you can choose to receive calls, hang up, or block numbers.
If you enable the dialing feature in your Pixel phone, you do not need to enable it. Enabled by default. To adjust your voice type or see how it works with the demo, go to Settings in the Google Phone app and press Call Screen.
This feature is coming soon and will soon be available in other Pixel products. Since Google has not made an official announcement and is not included in the phone app update, there are no events to distribute.
